The band is only one person so it should be "from his latest...", but yeah "their" is the acceptable term.

"Survivalism" is a great tune, listening to "My Violent Heart" right now, and I read up on MTV.com about the concept of the record...apparently there's some sort of webquest having to do with it...it's intense, check the Wiki...

It's a shame, cause I was really hoping for something awesome from the way he was building it up. I'll probably end up buying it in some fit of stupidity anyway.

Those songs were great. I'm glad Trent went back to the strange electronic compositions he's known for. The new material is much closer to The Downward Spiral than With Teeth.

I love My Violent Heart, Survivalism is pretty cool its different. I can tell this album is gonna be a grower, but it's really cool I think this is liek a mix between TDS and With Teeth. I will MOST DEFINITELY be buying this.

The quality is pretty low for my, anyone else? Still it reminded me more of Pretty Hate Machine and it seems Reznor is leaning towards his beginnings. Any NIN is good to hear .

I hate to say it but these songs arent very impressive (on first listen), it sounds like he has made these 2 songs on fruit loops or something.

The songs weren't terrible, but they weren't amazing either. Those may just be filler tracks though. Remember, there are 14 other songs on the album. Maybe he wants to save the really good ones for those who buy the album.

I liked Survivalism. like Shadows said, sounds more like he went back to the The Downward Spiral era, which is a good thing.

It's because myspace compresses songs into oblivion.

Yeah he went back to his old days, but it is such a flat and emotionless song.

Yeah, his old stuff is like this except fueled by extreme emotions. This is like the old stuff without feeling. This Message Edited On 02.17.07

Finally, Trent goes back to his raw roots of music. The heavily favoured electronic flare of his new song is catchy and heavy at the same time. Hopefully the rest of the new album doesnt sound like With Teeth.
