Sounds like any of the singles from their last album, but just not as good or catchy.

Agreed this sounds more like a lateral move for them but it's the first single - don't expect them to jump out of the box with this. it lacks the immediacy of something like 1901 but i dig it. growed on me

Curse.

Never thought I would say this about a Phoenix song, but this song suffers greatly from a mediocre chorus.

it's a good song, but I was really really excited for this record. Now, well I guess I'd drop a "really" haha idk

I can dig it. Much less direct than their last album, not necessarily a bad thing though

Wow someone got told on the Youtube comments.
I don't really quite get the hype behind Phoenix, but they put out some enjoyable stuff. Can see myself 3.5ing an album of this song's quality.

Exactly what I expected from them. As much as I'd love them to expand Love Like A Sunset experimentation, they're still catchy as fuck like this.

I feel like Pheonix as a whole produce fantastic full albums. One song from the album doesn't always stand out, but together they end up being fantastic. But I guess we'll have to see.

i actually really liked that. more of the same really, but that's fine by me when they have such a winning formula.

This.

They don't have a lot of songs I enjoy individually if they came up on shuffle, but if you listen to a string of them in a row, you can really appreciate the work. This song is pretty catchy, but I agree with most of the comments; nothing really ground-breaking
