No, it was their guitarist who believed that being gay was a sin. The rest of the band did not share
the same belief and the lead singer, Mattie, posted a video on Youtube explaining the situation. He
even gave out his personal phone number for anyone they offended to call him. The guitarist who shared
his belief latter left the band and devoted his life to helping people in 3rd world countries with his
wife.

That was just the one guy in the band. To be fair though, they must all share the same opinion.

Mattie is a very level headed person, and so does seem the rest of the band. Im stoked to see how Sam Penner influences their sound. His work on ITMOL was golden.

I've consistently been impressed by Mattie's vocal improvement since "Portraits." Sounds like Danny Leal from UABB, which rocks compared to his near-belching in "Ekklesia."
It's a dang shame that such rockin' vocals are paired with recycled Jesus lyrics and too many breakdowns.

Mattie's got better no doubt.
