Is there actually any reason to think this will be good though? I mean the group's solo work has been on its hottest streak since they were in their prime, but their group work has been shoddy as hell since Wu-Tang forever, and even that was a huge step down from 36C. There's a ton of discord in the group and has been for awhile, especially with Rae (who's been the biggest star of the group as of late). RZA hasn't really made a star performance production-wise since like 1995. Over time it's been shown that some of the members (U-God, MK, and god forbid cappadonna shows up) just really aren't that talented. Some of the members who were good in the day (Meth and INS) haven't done anything worth shit in ages.

I do believe that if every member approached this seriously and gave it their all, it would rule. I just don't think they all will at this point. But shit I hope it's good, I'd hate to see the group as a whole go out on a bad note.

It's been 6 years since 8 diagrams. Things can change.

It's the 20th anniversary to 36 chambers. I'm sure they'll at least put some love into it.

RZAs production of TMWTIF soundtrack was really good

Haven't been excited about a hip hop release since 2001. This may change that

nigga please wu has been knocking heads for 2 decades. Including the solo albums this group has more godly releases than any other musical act period.

This album was supposed to come out last year though, and the year before that too, so idk if it will really come to fruition the way rza says it's going to

the group put out like 4 classic hip hop albums.

Their solo stuff has been really good.

Oh dude considering their solo shit as well the group has just been insanely good, and they're honestly my favorite act in hip-hop if you consider their work as a whole. But I think it's only reasonable to have doubts at this point. Their group career honestly hasn't been anything great with the exception of 36C.

8 Diagrams was decent.

Should have chopped Wu Tang Forever into 1 album instead of a double. Would have possibly been the greatest rap album of all time.

Yeah I agree with that to an extent, Wu-Tang Forever was way too long but I still don't think it could touch 36 Chambers.
