Blawan reveals Sheworks 005 2013-01-09 by Deviant. STAFF | 12 Comments | Blawan's ascendancy into the upper echelons of UK techno shows no signs of slowing down as he teams up with the elder statesman of UK acid wizadry Surgeon for the next round of untitled warehouse rumblings from label Works The Long Nights.
Co-run with Pariah (who when paired together with Blawan form the hard-hitting duo of Karenn), the imprint has already found a sizable audience through releases from Midland, Sunil Sharpe, as well as material from the label-runners themselves, with this collaboration marking entry #5 in the label's continuing Sheworks series. Surgeon (aka Anthony Child), whose first tracks date back to the mid 90s, has long championed both the young producer and the current crop of UK techno producers; for Blawan, this release is another notch in his collaborative belt, after recent pairings with The Analogue Cops. For this particular release, the duo will be operating under the moniker of Trade
