An overall update

2006-02-28 by Prince of Darkness | 9 Comments
Mike Patton, the man that doesn't have a creative end, with bands such as Fantomas, Tomahawk, Faith No More and Mr. Bungle under his very large and ever expanding belt, is going on, God help him!

Patton has said that the release of the eagerly awaited debut album from multi-genre pop colaberation, Peeping Tom, will be hitting shelves by May. He has been working on the album for 4 years and it is said to feature tons of guest artists, including female singer Norah Jones.

That's not all from this man - The Faith No More Live performance, Live At The Brixton Academy, London You Fat Bastards, will be released in a double dvd pack including ALL the FNM music videos, also out in May.

Patton is also working with John Zorn(yet again) on his new album. It is said to be a "hardcore song cycle scored for voice, bass and drums"

Other news is that Mike Patton's acting debut in the indie film, Firecracker, will be released on 23 May 06, making May a wonderful month for Patton fanboys. Enjoy.

No he's not. All he does is different styles of singing. We have yet to see if he is even a remotely decent actor.

prince of darkness, i read ur post really fast and mixed words up and came to a realisation....

tool + mike patton......... HOLY SHIT!!!! THAT WOULD BE GOD-LIKE!!!

but yeah ur rite Alex101, FNM should reform. imagine how crazy another album would be, considering all hte new influences the band members have picked up since the breakup. i know billy gould was in a black metal band for a bit (some side project of one of the swedish blackmetallers, i dunno who, might have been Satyricon), and obviously patton has a million and one influences!

There's also a new Tomahawk album in progress and a new Lovage album. Just thought I'd spread the news.
