^^^This. #'s 7 and 8 maybe don't belong, but the rest I'm certain I'll be seeing on a lot of people's year-end lists, mainstream or otherwise. And I'm really happy (and surprised) Japandroids made it so high.

It sucks that they gave Taylor Swift such a high place on the list. I mean, if a non-mainstream artist would have made the same album, it would have never been on #31. Really expected the new Tallest Man on Earth record to be on there, btw. Weird.
