I won't fault a band for writing what they're passionate about. Doesn't matter what it is their passionate about.

Agree about the Jesus thing; should be toned down, but this is a Christmas song, so I can understand a Christian band doing it a lot this time 'round. Still a great song. And this band is fucking ill.

And agree SpiritCrusher, Slaves is definitely their best and one of my favorites of the year as well.

Yeah, i could see that arguement, but the vocalists are way better and i think they write really solid songs as well, captors was really good for the genre.

Some of the songs from Captors are a little intensely christiany, but I don't think it really detracts from the music or the band itself.

MegaJake makes a good point though, it is a Christmas song, so it's kind of expected.

These guys do write intense Christian lyrics, but they are well written. And people who sing their passion is the best thing to hear.

Couldn't agree more. Song is pretty sweet, I really hope these guys become bigger in their career, they deserve it.

Totally disagree. There's way more cleans, better riffs, less chugging and everything just executed at such a higher level. These guys are phenomenal. Can't wait to see what they do in the future. Agreed apokolypz, I'd love to see them get big, and I really don't see why they wouldn't other than the intense Christian lyrics.
