sweet
| |
Thought it was a really good song. Different.
| |
That was pretty sweet.
| |
Well that's it gents. It was a nice run.
| |
I've been listening to Define the Great Line in my truck for like two weeks now. Such a great album
| |
Goddamn right it is. Wish I could find the LP somewhere.
| |
So good. So damn good.
| |
Damn, I'm going to miss them.
| |
This is shitty that this is there last song. Good song though
| |
smashing
| |
very interesting/fitting last song. it's sad to see 'em go...
| |
Eh, this song was pretty weak. Nowhere near as good as the previous one.
| |
'tis good.
| |
Really good song. Going to miss them
| |
Loved it.
| |
I still want another LP. Alas, this song will have to do. R.I.P.

Dicks.
| |
I feel like both of these are weaker than all of Disambiguation. "Sunburnt" seemed like it was written when Aaron was still with them. This one is nothing special either. Neither are horrible. I'm probably one of the few here that feels Disambiguation outdid DTGL as the greatest shit they ever did.
| |
Pretty good.
| |
It's alright but it's not like they'll be remembered for it.
| |
Good song, Disambiguation > DTGL
| |
Song blows. RIP Underoath 1997-2009
| |
Yeah havent given a shit about them since DTGL.
| |
It's awesome. I think I prefer it to Sunburnt, but I loved that song too.
| |
I literally had a joyous conniption when I found their tour expanded to Worcester, hellllllz yes.
| |
dude

lol
| |
was hoping for something heavier than sunburnt, but i do like this one better. Both songs still seem half assed to me.
| |
That was a pretty dull way to end a great run. Sad to see them go, but they were never going to top DtGL.
| |
cool, now I have a sense of closure and can proceed to not give a fuck.
| |
Would be nice if I could hear it in my country, damn EMI. Sunburnt is sick though.
| |
I is not USA. I is not listened.
| |
can't watch it oh well guess I'll have to wait
and I can't believe there are people who actually think disambiguation was their best record
| |
imo Disambiguation and DTGL are tied, but that's just me. Two new songs rule, but they don't touch tracks like Everyone Looks So Good From Here or In Division.....even still, I really like this, wish I could get one more album in this direction
| |
excited to listen
| |
IMO, DTGL and LITSOS > Disambiguation > TOCS > rest.
| |
I prefer Sunburnt, still good though.
| |
both of these songs are really good. I like them way better than disamiguation. Now i'm really sad they're breaking up
| |
Ugh. This song sounds like underoath trying to be As Cities Burn. I would really like this song, if I didn't already know that Spencer can't actually sing worth a shit. That makes this really irritating.
| |
Man if these were just singles off a new album, it would be an excellent listening experience. I really like how spencers voice has adapted in each album and isnt as one dimensional as aarons voice was. I thought his voice added a new depth on these tracks that wasn't as apparent on disambiguation. Would love to see some side projects in the future
RIP
| |
Except his singing voice gets 'fixed' on albums. He can't sing live at all
| |
I don't give a fuck what's been done to his voice, as long as it sounds good.
| |
That's stupid.
| |
suckshjzkz
| |
Lol, why is that stupid? I'm not going to see them live, why would I give a fuck?
| |
Artistic integrity?
| |
Even though I haven't liked them since college and DTGL, sad to see them go. They had a good run though.
| |
Artistic integrity?
Please, be more arbitrarily pretentious.

^ Try Proxtube or similar Addons.
I haven't paid much attention to Underoath in the last year but hearing the two new songs after they broke up is just fucking sad. That could have been an amazing album.
| |
"He can't sing live at all"
lol wut?
| |
I haven't seen them live since right before DTGL was released so I never heard him sing live. I couldn't really imagine the strain headlining tours for years would put on your voice on a daily basis. Of course in the studio they have all the time in the world to get that perfect sounding vocal section and can layer up and add those reverby interludes, but his voice doesn't sound "corrected", just well produced.
| |
Sounds like a song Circa Survive would write.
| |
they've been killing it live for years, even when aaron left, and this comes from an aaron fanboy who thinks the band was done when he parted ways
| |
Can't stand UO without Aaron.. they had like one song i liked one disambiguation
| |
Maniac!
You're joking? Have you seen them live since "Ø Disambig."? His clean vocals- even during the chorus of Illuminator after the screamed vocals sound spot on with the record. I honestly in all sensibility can't figure out where you're coming from on that note- this coming from the standpoint of a concerned music enthusiast.
And Artistic Integrity..?
...Really?
| |
I've seen Underoath twice, once with and once without Aaron. Aaron's parts were all handled very well by both Spencer and the one guitarist with a huge beard (don't know his name). He can definitely sing live.
| |
So good. Hate it so much that they're done :/
| |
good song. shame that they are quitting
| |
Praise Allah these guys are finally calling it quits. Awful.
BTW, THE Deftones aren't metal and they suck.
| |
I don't enjoy feeling like I am sitting in a church when listening to my metal.
| |
I have to agree with maniac actually. Not concerning this band necessarily, but it's too easy to create music in the studio these days. If you can't recreate the album in a live setting then I'm not a fan. Anyone can do anything in the studio these days with enough takes.
| |
"I don't enjoy feeling like I am sitting in a church when listening to my metal."
They haven't been preachy in a decade.
