Been meaning to check these guys out

Holy shit i'm willing to bet this fucking rules.

Commencing enjoyment.
| |
Nah, this is pretty sweet.
| |
"nu-metal (jokes)
and
queer metalcore // jokes"
Haven't heard any of those yet. Band slays though so no care.
| |

Queer metalcore wtf? Gotta love the internet...

| |
"and "COK" lolololol"
That's honestly what I was expecting him to say lol
| |

| |
anyone else think this is kind of boring and lifeless? almost sterile? it doesn't compel me to feel anything. kind of messy (in a bad way).
| |
some songs on this are a mess. others rule.
| |
Agree with that statement. I was kind of underwhelmed by this to be honest. Maybe it was just all the hype surrounding it. Still a cool listen though. Maybe it'll grow on me.
| |
Overall a good listen.. I don't know about anybody else, but I HATE when a song abruptly ends like th
| |
can't wait to listen, just got into these kids.
| |
this is pretty cool, the last 4 albums that came out of God City (that i've heard) are fucking immense, looking forward to the new Kvelertak!
| |
nah
| |
hahaha
| |
I kinda liked cycles, only heard that one
| |
meh, didn't live up to the hype if you ask me
| |
shits cool
| |
I will admit, some great tracks. But I can't help but feel slightly underwhelmed. I suppose I'm just the victim of overhype
| |
Sweet this totally isn't the same fucking thing they've already released like three times already.
| |
Try actually listening to it. I could say that about most bands if I never legitimately listened to them. This band has a distinct sound, but their material is not a re-hash.
| |
I've listened to all of it, seen the songs live, played with them a couple times, blahblahblah...They're nice enough kids but you can't sit there and say they don't re-use basically all of their ideas in every song. I'm sure Ballou is the only reason this one is slightly different. And if one more person uses "doom" or "crust" to describe these guys I'll loose my shit.
| |
yeh they're kind of a one-trick pony and a full length has made it pretty obvious. that's not to say there aren't some awesome moments on this, though.
| |
Honestly don't understand what everyone sees in this band. I've only heard a few tracks. Is there a good starting point in order to get into them properly?
| |
If you don't enjoy the opening track, you don't enjoy the band. That's basically your starting point.
| |
i went to school with these dudes, this album slays. you don't like hardcore if you don't like these dudes. and if you don't like hardcore why are you listening anyways? some music is driven by pure emotion and energy, like cok's music.
| |
o ;pve mi ,eta;
| |
you don't like hardcore if you don't like these dudes.
........................................
| |
you don't like hardcore if you don't like these dudes.
Little far there, buddy. Little far.
| |
Since these kids were like 14, they've jumped on every fashionable bandwagon in punk music. "Code Orange Kids" was a folk punk band before they started ripping off Trash Talk songs. I hate that people like these kids. Of all the bands to get noticed from the collective of teenagers playing shows in Pittsburgh, it's insane to me that these were the lucky fellows. This band is fucking bad.
| |
you don't like hardcore if you don't like these dudes.
Wow, this statement is so fucking retarded. It's called an opinion. Too bad yours is so far up your ass.
| |
"you don't like hardcore if you don't like these dudes."
Yeah I like this band but shut the fuck up
| |
How old are these guys and gal anyway?
