This is curious, but Birth Eater was wonderfully dark and emotional

Wut

| |
probably to distance themselves from oceano
| |
^Maybe true but this stuff sounds promising.
| |
The sample video they posted on Facebook sounds vaguely like Radiohead to me.
| |
this band has had the biggest identity crisis of any I've ever seen. [2]
The Tide still stands as one of my favorite albums ever.
| |
Maybe to distance themselves from the chavy UK clubs?
| |
Isn't there also a German pop artist with that name?
| |
Oceana was at least a serviceable name. The fuck is this Polyenso shit? Meh. Best thing this band ever did was that short ep when they started doing non-core.

Probably so that Spanish artist or whatever she is doesn't show up when you Google their name.
Cool to hear they're still doing new stuff. Clean Head was pretty awesome.
| |
Yeah there's a German singer named Oceana. Polyenso sounds fine to me. Album's gonna rule.
| |
lol

lol

They started figuring out what they wanted to do when they got back together for the EP
| |
The toughest thing is probably changing their page's band name. Both of their album's have their old name on album covers. But it's better then making another page.
| |
Makes sense considering their sound is way different now
| |
loved clean head. lovin the radiohead vibe.
| |
thought this was about that deathcore band that tries to be killswitch engage
| |
I do keep confusing them with Oceano so this is kinda cool.

I keep confusing them with Oceano
I keep confusing them with The Ocean
| |
This is a mistake to change their name this late in the game no matter the reason.
| |
this makes sense
I think there are two original members left

The Tide still stands as one of my favorite albums ever. [2]

Sounds like Radiohead + Other Lives + Jeff Buckley
| |
I don't get all the love for The Tide.

"I'm afraid to tell you that you've been diagnosed with Polyenso. You have 5 months to live."
| |
What a fucking stupid idea, Polyenso sounds like an undiscovered species of Platypus or a Pokemon that is a Platypus. Birthearter was a great album and I want them to follow in that direction but with the new name I doubt they will.
| |
exciting even if the samples were lackluster

still love your avatar, andcas

Sounds good. I'm down with this, yo.
| |
Recspecs, who is the girl from your avatar picture.
Fuck, she's hot.
| |
lol
| |
good question^.
Also,
I'm pretty unhappy about this, not because of the name, but because I thought Birth.Eater was pretty good. It was overproduced, but songs like The Family Disease were very good. Not a big fan of this new stuff, not necessarily cause its bad, just cause now they're clearly not going to make a new metal album.
| |
Hurry up and tell me. So horny rite nao.
| |
thought it was oceano
lol

probably to distance themselves from oceano [2]
It's good damn it, I hate how people got 'em confused, especially since Oceana was around first. Or, at least I think so.
| |
Still waiting for info on that hot girl

I saw these guys live not too long ago in Orlando. I had a conversation with the lead singer and he said they are changing their sound. They want to do an indie-ish rock vibe sound. Oceana isn't who they are anymore...and they were getting a lot of flack from old fans who had not heard of the new ep or new sound.
| |
I don't know how I feel about this. I liked The Tide when I used to listen to it...kinda forgot about this band until now. At least they're changing their name too instead of changing their sound and completely alienating their old fans
| |
Oceana is now Chickfila Polynesian sauce
| |
Just... break up. You all are done. Give it up.
| |
More birth.eater plz
| |
Completely different. Glad they changed their name. Just found a link of a live performance of their new song - http://

Falling in the Rain might be one of the best orchestrated songs I've heard from a band.
| |
Birth.Eater remains to be one of my favorite albums of all time.
| |
Well it seems pointless to make a new page, it's the same band.
| |
Then again I did make a new page for The Morning Benders when they changed their name.
