At the very least, Dani Filth's "clean" vocals sound way better here than on their last four albums. As far as the music goes, it's good, technically COF has really well written songs, but it doesn't make up for Dani's tame vocal performance or the fact that this song could have been on any album after 'Nymphetamine' or even a b-side to that record. I wish they had gone the path of obscurity and disbanded after 'Midian' because the band has been a parody of itself for the last twelve years.

I don't get why people hate on dani's vocals.
He tries to sound like a fancy vampire. All subdued and mysterious. It just makes him sound hilariously cheesy. That, and his screams are usually weak, and his growls equally cheesy and laugh-inducing.
