Another new Green Day song

2012-10-11 by ZackSh33 | 20 Comments
Surprise! Green Day has released yet another new single called "Stray Heart" (that makes 4 actual singles and 4 promotional singles so far if you're counting, sportsfans).

Thusfar, all the songs that have been released have been off of "Uno!," which was released just a few weeks ago. This single is off of the second of their three album trilogy, titled "Dos!"

"Dos!" is scheduled to be released November 13th, and the follow up "Tre!" is slated for January, with a documentary "Quatro!" being released in the near future as well.

The song mainly takes influence from their side project Foxboro Hot Tubs, who released an album in 2008.

Catchy, but I just wish these songs weren't so produced. Green Day is essentially making well-produced classic/garage rock with these albums, which doesn't sound right.

Amazingly not terrible. Not gonna get these albums, but shit, I won't deny that this is a nostalgic throwback to American Idiot.

"Nostalgic throwback to American Idiot"

Always makes me lol. I was 19 when AI came out. For me, that was yesterday. Want real nostalgia? Try Dookie. Shit takes me back to middle school every time.

Most probably DOS! will be the best of the three records just because it will sound closest to Foxboro Hot Tubs.

The song isn't bad, but Stay the Night is a better song.

Does any one think Stray Heart sounds like a Christmas song? It could very well have been recorded for
Warning.

This single slays everything on Uno, which isn't much of an accomplishment to begin with, but hey.. it's green day.
