goodness me
| | | love these guys. incredible interview... it covers so much stuff lol, thanks for posting this!
| | | Beyond awesome interview. The concepts and creativity these guys have kind of reminds me of weird things I like to spin up off the top of my head. You should really check this out, Rosa. Interesting stuff for sure. I love what he says about the "Post-hardcore" genre and I absolutely cannot believe these guys all have to work day jobs (that get in the way of their touring) with all the talent they possess.
Sounds like this album will be a huge one, pretty excited. Trophy Scars' last three were all monumental for me.
| | | "There is a lot of psychedelic ear candy and those who partake in that sort of ritual will receive a major pay off. " Awesome
"Some of our earlier records were definitely influenced by hardcore, but those days were long ago" Oh,, nostalgia. I love the points he addresses as well and he's right a lot of fans do pigeon-hole them into the post-hardcore genre due to nostalgia but there is no denying that their first few releases were not only influenced by, but were indeed post-hardcore.
Will probably be great tunes as always, dude is such a great lyricist in my opinion and the entire band rules. My all time favorite band, shit even my username came from "Hospital for the aesthetics of language"
Stoked for this (albeit a little upset to know we will never get another Goodnight alchemy)
| | | Thanks for reading, guys. It turned out great.
| | | "future touring plans with All Human (Adam from Fear Before’s new project)."
hell yeah
| | | To answer Shinji's question "There is currently no known release date for Holy Vacants but the band has said that it should be out late Fall or early Winter depending on how they decide to release it."
| | | Love this band.
Great interview. I am a bit disappointed about the female vocals on the album. It just wasn't my cup of tea for the last record. Maybe it was too uplifting and in this record the vocals will come off more dark and hopefully not in every song.
Should still be a solid record though.

| | | "She has been responsible for everything released after Bad Luck; we began dating immediately after the mixing process for that album. Needless to say, she is not only able to inspire a vast spectrum of art and literary themes but she is single-handedly the most significant person included in my writing."
Thanks Lauren!
| | | I miss liz
| | | So stoked.
| | | I can't fucking wait for this to come out.
