New Gamma Ray Drummer 2012-09-11 by Alex Newton | 8 Comments | German power metal band Gamma Ray have announced that Michael Ehre (Metalium, Uli Jon Roth) will be their new drummer following the sudden departure of longtime-member Dan Zimmerman. This is the first lineup change since 1997's Somewhere Out in Space, when Zimmerman joined the band.
According to singer/guitarist Kai Hansen, the band expects to release their 11th studio album in January.
