My dad explains the origins behind Smells Like Teen Spirit every time it comes on the radio, so to me that constitutes dad
rock.

He also likes to tell me how music was "just the best" in the 70s, and that modern music just isn't as creative. Then he
resumes his Staind and Matchbox 20 playlists.

No way Jon Fishman is worth 60 million...

I would imagine the likes of Mark Schulman, Steve Gadd and Kenny Aronoff (to name a few) would probably make this list, as they each charge millions per tour/hundreds of thousands per recording session.

I know this is old news, but I love that Lars Ulrich is number 5 on this list, and still the band is complaining that if they don't make music then they're gonna be poor. Wtf.

Oh, and I have met Stewart Copeland. I went to school with his daughter Grace.
