I think everything after TFOI just kind of lacks energy. It's still catchy, but just doesn't have enough going for it. This album will likely fall into that group.

I was the biggest fan of TFOI, hated Overcome, and was mehhh about their last one. This was actually interesting to me. Idk, definitely not as bad as you guys seem to be making it out to be.

God this band is so average.

I thought it was pretty good at first, started to drag a bit towards the end.

Funny story though..I met these guys when I saw them with As I Lay Dying back in 2010...me and my friend were talking to Phil about all sorts of things...their music, girls, other stuff. I said they should start playing The Deepest Grey again but he said that the band doesn't want to re-learn it or something like that...i don't know. And then he was talking about how there's one song from every album he hates. I don't remember what the one from TFOI was but he said from Overcome he hates A Song For The Hopeless. So I said I personally don't like Undone, and he responded with "Hey! I wrote that one!" and looked mad for a second, and I was like "oh...." then him and my other friend burst out laughing.

Pretty bad production, but I like it.

Band is dead to me... used to be one of my favorite bands back when I was into all that metalcore shit, and I still listen to FOI from time to time but they are clearly a shit band now.

yawn, and yeah the production is really odd. The vocal effects are completely unwarranted as well

This actually really confuses me. How can an album like fall of ideals be so good, the band ages and presumably matures and dish out stuff like Overcome and this...? which is essentially the same metalcore album written over and over by countless other bands

Even if they one day magically write a good song/album again, I'll still find them difficult to like after seeing them talk all that shit about how terrible Iron Maiden is and that songs with lyrical stories are stupid.

Also, they're not too great in person either.
