Just to point out, in the video, the Czech announcer says "The band had more then one altercation with fans during that concert, here is Blythe in action with a security guard" => the footage doesn't necessarily have to show the person that died (and when we're at it, it doesn't even have to be from the Prague show :D), just another random stage diver.
Czech TV nova used those images only to illustrate how it COULD have happened, and they never claimed this was the actual footage of the incident.

From his excuses/explanations, it sounds like he hasn't seen the footage and likely that is the case given where he is right now. And it looks like the big security guy had more to do with the fan's exit velocity than Randy's one-handed toss motion while holding a mic with the other hand. Jesus this is dumb.

And yeah I mean the footage shows him doing it accident or not. Really is just a matter of what charge he gets stuck with.

I'm not a fan of the band, but I am sympathetic towards him.

I'm glad he didn't make a big deal out of trying to run from the police or refusing cutody, good for him for being cooperative with their extremely harsh-seeming measures, it's good to see someone representing much of the Genre being a good citizen and not creating more of a fiasco for once.

That said, manslaughter is manslaughter, and perhaps he shouldn't have (allegedly) thrown the guy off the stage. Everyone seems to be using the excuse that 'Post-Dimebag' no one should go on stage anymore, however if this is the 'rule' it should be enforced (much more peacefully) everywhere.

Hope the real story comes out soon, either way, though the 2 year wait is kind of sketchy...

This situation is ridiculous.

First the Obama administration will try to use tariffs with the Czech Republic. If that does not work, they will probably cut off all trade with the nation. Failing the freeing of Mr. Blythe at that point, sanctions will be initiated followed by a shock-and-awe carpet bombing a la Iraq circa 2003.
