New Smith Street Band Album

Melbourne folk punkers The Smith Street Band are set to release a new album entitled "Sunshine & Technology" on August 24. This will be their third release since 2011 and second LP following last year's acclaimed "No One Gets Lost Anymore". Album release will be accompanied by an Australian tour before the band heads to Florida for THE FEST. Tour dates are as follows:

Fri Aug 17th - Brisbane Hotel, Hobart
Sat Aug 25th - The Tote, Melbourne
Thur Aug 30th - Enigma Bar, Adelaide
Fri Aug 31st - Rosemount Hotel, Perth
Thur Sept 6th - X & Y Bar, Brisbane*
Fri Sept 7th - Great Northern Hotel, Newcastle*
Sat Sept 8th - Annandale Hotel, Sydney*
Sun Sept 9th - Phoenix Bar, Canberra*
Sun Sept 16th - Poison City Weekender, Melbourne (Sold Out)

I don't know if they will be able to top "No One Gets Lost Anymore", but if they do it will probably be the best album I will ever hear.

Very keen for this tour too. Hitting up Brisbane, Sydney and the PCW shows both bands are playing.
