Jonas's vocals never disappoint. I can't see how you would say his vocals sound bad on this, they sound just as they always have sounded since going clean. And yeah, it does sound like a mix between The Great Cold Distance and Night is the New Day with some newer elements. Always progressing in a good way, can't wait to hear the rest.

Okay, so Tool was in 1990 and Katatonia in 1991. Oh well. But Katatonia are on their way to release their 9th album. And Tool still hasn't released their 5th album, which they should have some years ago. Fuck.

I am a big fan of Fair Deal Gone Down and forward the most. I love their combination of 80s influences/Heavy rock. There's a lot of The Cure going on, which I love mixed with newer influences.
