this is probably his best track he's ever done so far, it's consistently good throughout, lacks virtually any corniness or trying hard to shove pop-culture references in but is still full of brilliant wordplay, he shows a ridiculous amount of mic presence and yaddayaddayadda. Plus ScHoolboy's flow is just...ridiculous.

Really tho his flow sounds REALLY close to Danny Brown in some parts, which makes sense since they've been touring together a lot but yeah.

See, this song is good, but the majority of Sputnik users won't like it because it's not...well, not what appeals to them usually. Which isn't WRONG, per se, I mean it's your taste, but they just don't get the appeal in songs like these and thinks it sucks as a result.

Really? I think he's more charismatic than usual without the melodramatic delivery that sounds like he wants to cry and scream all the time, which is a nice balance. And I think his wordplay is great here without any of the corny hashtags or forced nerd culture references or just plainass lame punchlines.

I was always a fan of the pop-culture stuff myself, and never found it forced. My prime example of his flow when he was hungry is on "You Know Me." There he just combines an aggressive mindset with a dope vocal sound that screams "fuck the haters, I got swag"

and even in those lyrics you posted he's still making pop culture references

liiike I don't mind the references but there are instances where it felt like he was just trying to shove in as many references as possible and nerd stuff to make people go, "HEY I KNOW WHAT HE'S TALKING ABOUT"

and I like the beat to that song but he's so cheesy, and his delivery is okay, I guess. I mean it was more calmed but I think he also tries putting more energy into his vocals without sounding like a cartoon character but still keeping it unique. Because in his Cul de Sac days his voice just kinda sounded silly.

Kendrick's verse over that beat is crazy tho.
