Lucky me ehh? I just got into them yesterday.
Can't wait m/
| |
two colors?!
| |
STOOOOOOOOOOOKED.
| |
John Congleton is a great producer. The album will be good for sure.
Small correction: it should've been 'on July 17'
| |
got my ticket to see them with meshuggah cant wait
| |
suh-weeeet
| |
Two colors. Rockin'.
| |
Me too, MO!!!
I honestly think this will be tons better than Blue Record
| |
FUCK
YEAH
.
| |
I wonder if it'll be a two-disc affair.
| |
double album?
| |
AP said it's going to be a double album.
| |
Sweet, a double album will rule. Stoked.
| |
TOO FUCKING EXCITED TO NOT USE CAP LOCKS!!!!
| |
Shaping up to be a great sludge year
| |
two colors?! [1]
| |
I wanted Purple
| |
Call me pedantic or whatever, but if it is a double album, I really hope one side is Yellow and one is Green. I feel each would have their own distinct sound to evoke, as opposed to the two combined.
| |
I can't wait to see the
artwork. Baizley is a
talented guy, he can draw
and make good music.
| |
Smmmooooooootttttthhhhhhh.
| |
these guys bore me to death
| |
"these guys bore me to death"
I couldn't have said it better. So I won't.
| |
"why dont u go listen to meniscus and sulk about it, i know how exciting they are"
because i'm too busy listening to amia venera landscape! :]
| |
i liked you better when you were silent! >:[
actually that's not true i'm sorry ]:
| |
what is that one love? :[
please say it's me ]:
| |
everyone was wrong
| |
also this will undoubtedly rule
| |
too bad red was infinitely better (2)
| |
"This may be the last time they tour with bands as heavy as Meshuggah or Decapitated" I don't think i like the way that sounds. Either way, will most likely rule everyones face.
| |
Do want!
| |
Both red and blue have some great tracks. I'm sure this new one will have some as well.
| |
i love you silentpotato! :]
| |
wonder what color the album cover will be
i have a hunch it'll be green and yellow
| |
I was predicting it to be "The Green Record" but I alas I was so close.
| |
It'll be a brown cover after I wipe my ass with it.
| |

this interview is exciting for me
http://www.altpress.com/features/entry/baroness_john_baizley_studio_interview
| |
Yellow is a color that's "in" this summer so it only seems logical!
| |
Will sludge
| |
baroness sesh day when i get home in celebration
| |
really love this guys . Album art will definitely have a naked woman on it.
| |
it'll most likely have two
| |
Ha! my money was on yellow, guess I was half right. Really couldn't be more excited for this now.
| |
definitely will give it a try. lthough yellow does not match red, blue and green.
| |
I love Red and Blue. totally stoked for this
| |
I had dinner with these guys when they were in Tulsa with Deftones.
Awesome dudes, this album will for sure rip hard.
| |
Better be a double album.
| |
That interview is worrying. As much as I'm a fan of a band progressing their sound, they seem to be headed away from why I like them.
| |
Quote from interview:
"As many things as we used to say in one song, now I think we’re spreading out into the course of two
or three songs."
That sounds incredibly regressive. I hope it sounds better on record than it does on paper.
| |
"good because ill have to go through your ratings and find a shitty boring band you like too and i dont feel like it right now"
Get over it man. We're not all supposed to like the same things, last time I checked. That's why every band on the planet is doing their best representation of what "good" really is.
| |
I'm cautiously optimistic about this album.
i love everything this band does.
hope this is no exception...
| |
Can't wait, saw these guys live with BTBAM and Mastodon. They were amazing live. I highly suggest anyone who can go see them live, as they are about 10x as good on a stage as in the studio.
| |
I could imagine that. I don't really like the production on any of their albums.
| |

idk one of my bigger issues with this band was how they never really fleshed out their ideas, which is pretty crucial for this style of music
| |
^ I'm sure that's what their pushing for. Personally I've never had an issue with that aspect of their music. In fact, I like that about them. It's a sporadic type of writing that I get a ton of replay value from.
| |
seeing these guys at a fest this summer, mildly excited.
| |
I definitely found myself liking quite a few tracks from blue, still need to pick up red at some point. Will definitely check this out.
| |
Get red, man. It's a lot better than blue.
| |
