DJ Lethal Forms Band w/ Fans? 2006-12-12 by Dave de Sylvia EMERITUS | 4 Comments | The ongoing uncertainty of Limp Bizkit's future as a band has taken another turn, as founder member DJ Lethal appears to have proposed the formation of a "virtual band" with fans via myspace.
The band's future has been up in the air since the departure of guitarist Wes Borland earlier this year. Borland insists Limp Bizkit is no longer, and he's left to concentrate on his new band Black Light Burns, while frontman Fred Durst is adamant the group will produce a follow-up to 2004's flop The Unquestionable Truth. The pair had a brief "myspace war" earlier this year and have been unable to resolve their differences.
Fans have since lined up to take the departed guitarist's place, much like they did when he first left the band in 2001 only to be replaced by former Snot guitarist Mike Smith. A number have set up myspace profiles with streamable samples in the hope of capturing the band's attention, and Durst has given a number of them public recognition.
DJ Lethal stepped into the ring yesterday, leaving a long message for public viewing on auditionee Jule GT's myspace page, inviting fans to form their own band and indie label on the understanding that he would add his expert beats to the mix. Lethal proposed a seven step plan (including two step sixes), inviting fans to make all the arrangements to "fuck the system."

at first,someone who will take all of your visions and ideas,then present the best ones to the band.....until that happens dont even breathe a word of this idea to anyone,remember 500 of you will be partners in a record label.....thats all i got right now
