i agree that the production was pretty solid. i'm interested in seeing what caleb shomo is really capable of doing, as he seems like the only member of the band that has the potential to be onto something. he's a passable vocalist and his work on the production and electronics isn't bad...

The instruments are pretty neat, best clean vocals they've ever had, but like I said, screaming couldbe improved a lot! But gonna check this out, because this is sounding promising. I'm really not a fan of this type of screaming and he's not even doing it well. I really like the song though. If they're able to put enough variation (ballad, long song, etc...) into the record and pull it off, this could be a 3.5/4.

I'm seeing a lot of bands using a meaty tone. It does sound a bit djenty which is neat. hopefully it won't get old.

Also, the screams are pretty weak and remind me of spencer sotelo from periphery's self-titled on an impression level. Pretty boring, but the band surely doesn't sound gay anymore. Also, the 50's look can work for them, will not lie. Good for them, they also cut their hair.
