Better chorus than Lionheart IMO. Some nice guitar parts here and there. Overall pretty good.

Pretty sweet, the chorus is actually catchy, and has a good melody.

The opening energy put a smile on my face.
|
| |
Sounded like a deathcore opening IMO but still good
|
| |
For a second I was put off by the breakdown, thought it was a sure sign of the band heading more into that direction. Scared me for a moment.
|
| |
More in that direction meaning just straight breakdowns.
|
| |
New For Today beginning much?

In terms of the song, it was pretty good. Gotta love that angelic voice.

Yea that was worrisome.
|
| |
Was scared for a deathcore-y sound too.
Glad the aggression is there but it's scaled back at times.
Good song.
|
| |
The formula was pretty generic, but they pulled it off better than most can.
|
| |
Those cleans man, they get ya!
|
| |
I enjoyed that
|
| |
spot on about the chorus, it was seriously lacking in Lionheart. This was much better though the beginning kinda made me facepalm myself.
|
| |
this is so fucking awesome
|
| |
really enjoyed that and was pretty surprised by the heaviness in the beginning
|
| |
That was actually pretty goddamn enjoyable.
Vocalist reminded me a bit of Winston McCall(Parkway Drive).
|
| |
"Vocalist reminded me a bit of Winston McCall(Parkway Drive)."
I just can't see the comparison.
|
| |
Really?
Some of the screaming bits really sounded similar.
|
| |
Wait. Let me listen again.
|
| |
Now I hear what you're saying, and I agree in a way.
|
| |
Yeah, this sounds a lot like Parkway Drive. Not bad, but nothing too exceptional either.
|
| |
That part that starts around 0:46 sounds like it was ripped straight from a PWD song. As well as the entire section from 1:39-2:15 (which includes a repeat of that part from around 0:46).
|
| |
Intro reminds me of Devastator by For Today and song sounds a lot like Parkway Drive, especially the harsh vocals. Song is good.
|
| |
Song rips off Carrion by Parkway Drive, it's not exactly inconspicuous.
|
| |
The more I listen, the more I hear the Parkway Drive sounds. Not just in the vocals, a slight bit in the guitar tones and just the general song.
