Unnecessary remake of an excellent song for the soundtrack of an unnecessary remake of an excellent film. Sounds about right.

Nah, sounded pretty good though.

Why the fuck do they make a Hollywood remake of a Norwegian movie that just has been out for a couple of years...

I don't think they should remake the album, but David Fincher rules, so maybe it won't suck really really bad.

It's a movie, not an album. David Fincher is one of the best directors these days, so anyone complaining about the remake is dumb.

Also, "the best comment I've ever seen on this site"......15 comments....stfu

One thing people have to realize about this film is that it isn't a "remake." It isn't supposed to be a "redone" version of the first film. It's just a completely different interpretation of the book.

Also, the song is pretty cool. Can't wait for the full OST.

Shut up to all the people saying it has been out...NO it hasn't. There was only the short trailer version. The full song was
just released for the first time yesterday.

And it rules. I think it's awesome.

"Why the fuck do they make a Hollywood remake of a Norwegian movie that just has been out for a couple of years..."

The did it with Let The Right One In. Both are exceptional films. (Not saying it needs to be done, but it can turn out very well.) The American version was actually released very soon after the original. Like, way closer than with TGWTDT.

With "Let The Right One In" it was so close together that I was actually seeing overlapping advertisements for them. It was really fucking confusing. But this song has been out for months and is amazing, and Trent Reznor released the complete OST the other day as a free download.

Then why did I have the full version since close to the trailer release?

Trent Reznor released the complete OST the other day as a free download.

It was just a six track sampler, not the entire three hour OST before the movie's even out... (Unless there's been some massive leak I didn't hear about.)
