Pretty lazy looking cover.
Really curious on how the album sounds with that producer though...
| |
Yeah bloc I'm not too impressed with this one. However if they weren't the most insanely consistent band I know I would be more worried. I seriously have all their albums rated as 3.5's, which I cannot say for most bands
| |
I'm with you there. Chevelle's always been the band where I like a few songs on their album and find the rest passable. Usually chalks up to a 2.5 - 3.5 rating every single time.
But the article says the producer worked with QOTSA so heh heh heh....
| |
Yeah, not a huge fan of the cover...oh well.
Still looking forward to this.
| |
I like it
| |
Sometimes lazy works...like here
| |
Art fits the band, they've always had this thing for red imo
| |
Artwork for sci-fi crimes was epic... This is just lazy.
| |
lost interest over time. there's a line between consistency and repetitiveness.
| |
Pretty lazy looking cover.
fade out next to lazy end it all within
| |
Not bad, I like minimalist album art.
| |
always had a soft spot for these guys despite never releasing anything fantastic
| |
Looks pretty cool.
| |
It's not as cool as Sci-Fi crimes, but works. I just hope the album lives up to expectations. I've slowly moved away from Chevelle over the years, so I hope they can make something that will interest me again.
| |
I agree with everyone that yes, the cover does work (kind of) but at the same time it really is lazy to the max. Album will most probably be solid, Sci-Fi Crimes was great so if they keep their stride, good things await.
| |
"And Red has always had a thing for Chevelle ;)."
lol yup, though I like Red better as a whole
| |
oh man i totally confused the album artwork on this one
| |
The album art looks pretty sweet to me.
| |
this reminds me of the artworks from Point #1. I really like it.
| |
Looks somewhat like Wonder What's Next's album art
| |
This is actually pretty cool artwork imo.
| |
oh yeah got confused. I had the send the pain below single and that is something like this
| |
oh, you mean you had the cover of Shut Up and Drive by Deftones?
| |
are you trying to make a joke
| |
It's simple but pretty cool.
| |
Don't ever quote Atreyu...ever!
| |
Chevelle= consistency
| |
probably won't be very good.
| |
"lost interest over time. there's a line between consistency and repetitiveness."
Your comment speaks the same
| |
Yeah, that's kind of the point of making a comment.
Way to go.
| |
Hats off to you, Chevelle!
| |
Looks very Chevellish. Great album title though.
| |
I'm waiting for the album where they but a damn 1970 Chevelle SS on their cover. Now THAT will be some sweet art.
| |
Reminds me of the cover for "No Heroes" by Converge, which was sick, although the album itself was awful.
| |
They released the tracklist too:

somebody can put this into the news if they want i'm too lazy and will be in a place without wifi for the next 6 hours
| |
This is hands down their worst album art.
