I think it's going to be more like Two Hunters. This is from their website:

This week Aaron Weaver supplied some insight on the creation of the new album. “I got into a daily rhythm of greeting the weak winter sun in the morning, working outside in the rain until midday, then retiring to our studio to work on the music late into the night. I did this nearly every day for two months. Quite a monastic lifestyle actually. I didn’t see many people. We were totally lost inside the record. Once the record was conceived from beginning to end, we met with Randall and started to slowly build the tracks at his studio in Seattle. I think that this album will be the best thing that Wolves in the Throne Room has created. We’ve never been able to devote this much time to writing and recording. It feels like this will be the culmination of everything we’ve done up to this point.”

In addition to the Weaver brothers, the album will also feature vocal contributions from Jessika Kenny, who contributed so much to the transcendent tone of the band’s massive Two Hunters album.

off of aaron turner's blog, preview images from the physical album. if you have good eyes, you can pick out a few key things.
1. Kenny's on Thuja... and Woodland Catherdral
2. Astral Blood has a harp m/m/m/m/m/m/
3. Aaron Turner is on Permanent... and Subterranean Initiation
4. The back cover art is just as awesome as the front
5. Permanent Changes... and Rainbow Illness are interlude tracks

Wolves(the band not the animal) are pussies, all about serenity, peace and love. Bears needs to be chaotic, grim and hateful. But to distance themselves from the other hordes and vegans they must skin animals and wear a animal fur uniform complete with bat wing pants, armadillo shoulderpads, seal slippers, panda bear tunic, rhino tusk, cutoff gorilla gloves with hawk talons, etc.

No, because it's a German word. Back in the 18th century when German hunters started to wipe out wolves we had plenty of them, hence the the word "Wolfhorde" or "Wolf(e)shorde". It's just that the words wolf and horde are identical in German and English.

"Isn't it a crime to wear a swastika in germany?"
Nope, that's bullshit. Just as the rumor that you aren't allowed to wear certain runes. You are allowed to wear a swastika, just not the swastika Hitler used. If it's obvious that runes and swastika are in relation to the 3rd Reich, THEN you're about to get fucked. (If it would apply that everyone wearing runes and a swastika would be imprisoned than every metal festival would be imprisoned by now)

@Wylie: Bad idea, you'd need to be in a historic recreations or theater group in order to do that, because the uniforms are not legal. And you'd have to register that event, UNLESS you do it on someone's own ground. Because on your property you can almost do anything.

"who'd waste their time making a fake like that? especially someone who can sing like that."

They could've just pitch shifted the original vocals with recording software. Can't tell for sure.

"specially someone who can sing like that."

First thing i thought was "god this singing is awful i hope this isn't real"

DarkNoctus

where are the original vocals from though?

hyperion it's not awful, just far, far too high in the mix

No there were points of extreme sketch in that singing, i doubt it'd be that hard.

Plus with as good as the singing was on previous works these guys would have to be doing some fucking hard ass tree roots to actually release this.

well she's never been a great singer, wittr overproduce their shit to hide the imperfections

but it looks like they haven't even bothered here

Going by the first minute and some of the ending, it sounds like Dea Artio. On further listens I'm not sure if this is a joke track or real song though. Based on the somewhat questionable female vocals, hopefully the former.

I was checking for leaks and realized that that song is streaming on NPR's site. I like it a bit more listening to it now, but I'm still a little disappointed that they blatantly reused material like that.

I wonder if they read threads like this.

It would probably suck for them but shit i mean there are new chords trust me.

It just seems like so many bands I like are ripping themselves off on their latest LPs... Agalloch, Ash Borer, Opeth, now these guys.

Eh, it's just an ambient interlude track so I'm not really worried. Start worrying when they start rehashing riffs in full-lenght songs.

I think it could fit having a flash back from two hunters, depending on how the rest of the album flows of course.

Yeah, like someone else said, it's one of the ambient tracks so you can't fairly judge the album by it. I like it, though.
