Sounds cool. I'm disappointed at the lack of violating though.

Good song.
| |
Very good song.
| |
gotta check it
| |
yes, this is awesome
| |
awesome song
| |
not diggin the cleans imo
| |
I could do without the keys, it takes the emphasis off of the guitar. Hopefully this is a good album, Oracles is one of my favorite albums of all time
| |
Song is fucking dope.
| |
no it sucks
| |
that drummer has some stamina damn
| |
The symphonic part is kinda annoying me. I liked them more with some classical passages, but not all throughout the song.
| |
idk never listened to these guys but it sounds like theyre everything you shouldnt be in a dm band
| |
ya man they lost me when they released their EP, Oracles is still like one of my fav DM albums ever tho
| |
Glad to see they are doing a better job of merging their classical-esque segments with their normal death metal parts. Oracles, though had some promise, was extremely disjointed.
| |
Is the drumming still obnoxious as fuck.
| |
Everything about this track is obnoxious as fuck.
| |
It was pretty good yeah. The symphonic elements are fucking cheesy though when spliced with death metal.
| |
Listen to "In Honour and Reason" Hyperion, song rules and isn't soaked with symphonics.
| |
I could stand it if they were two separate entities maybe but not all throughout like it is.
| |
That's what Oracles is like for the most part. It's easier to stomach. I just really love In Honour and Reason.
| |
Not a fan of the production on this either.
| |
the cleans made me lol especially during the key change. Other than that I enjoyed the song, though the production is chaotic as fuck
| |
damn that was gooood!!
| |
that drummer has some stamina damn
that drummer has some triggers. damn. i hate retarded ass triggers for double kick. it sounds like ass 99% of the time. why doesn't anyone just play real double kick anymore.
| |
Cleans sound sort of stupid but good song.
| |

Have you heard what a bass drum sounds like at 200+ bpm without triggers? Coming from a drummer that plays in a metal band, trust me, you want them in metal. Otherwise it just sounds indistinguishable. We need more old school "slow" DM.
| |
Starting to feel like Oracles was a fluke. Mafia was a huge letdown and this was good but nowhere near as good as some of their songs off Oracles.
| |
makes me want to river dance at hyperspeed. Clean vocals are reminiscent of Dimmu Borgir, but I like them. I really dig this song and it's symphonic overtone.
| |
wdf you mean oracles was a fluke nigga?
| |
In Honour of Reason is just ridiculously good.

that's what I mean. I get it, people can play fast. doesn't mean that it's good tho. and if people are using triggers, isn't there a way to make them sound better? it's thyat clicky, crappy sounding double kick that instantly turns me off of a band
| |
I mean you can adjust the trigger settings but there isn't a "great" sound for it if you want it to be distinguishable, I guess. I don't disagree though, man. I prefer slower DM at large. Like fast stuff a lot but, not as dark or brooding half the time.
| |
Fuck yeah this band.
| |
The symphonics are completely over the top here! Not sure if this is my cup of tea. I'll definitely listen to this one multiple times but I doubt it will be as good as Oracles, fuck that's one awesome record.
