I assure you, they brought in outside songwriters (if they hadn't before to begin with). Paramore (and namely, Haley) have been groomed to be huge since the very very beginning -- and the label's not going to let that go down the drain just because two members left.

If they brought in outside help, the original author would have to be credited somewhere. The only people credited for any of their songs that I can think of are members of the band. Think about how little sense it would make for a label to fake the band growing as musicians and growing less radio friendly (for their standards of course) as they got more famous.

Not remotely true. 'Ghost' songwriters are frequently brought in to help popular rock bands, and are paid explicitly to receive no public credit. And do you really think this song is less radio-friendly than their past fare? I think it's right on par with their song that came out with Twilight.

Instrumentally nice. Didn't like the production value on the vocals as much.

The drumming really is brilliant.

If the new Transformers film happens to be good (It wont) it'll complement the song even further.

The chorus is solid but the track is so half arsed.

Absolutely misses Zac's drumming. His style was all about mega powerful rim shots on a 14x8 snare, a 24" kick, lots of tom work and backbeat drops and clearly Taylor is a good drummer but hasn't been able to recreate or improve that great sound whatsoever.

Seriously this Circa Survive influence is barely there. Wow they played a few loose slash chords and wow their Circa Survive. I mean come on, the worst circa song is still better than every song paramore ever written.

Oh and Zac was a better drummer than this drumming by Taylor.

...but it left my head after not even 5 minutes. It's missing that defining hook that always made Paramore songs so stinking fun.
