Yeah, that salsa part is awesome. When I saw the tracklength it made me nervous that it was gonna just be another "to-
the-point" metalcore song, but this definitely shook things up a bit. It proves that they can do something different even
with a 3 minute song. I hope they're gonna do some more long songs with a "post metal" feel too.

Edit: Well, I guess it's a 4 minute song, but whatever.

Bad solo, but overall the song was great. I was really pessimistic after that first track they released, but this really turned my hopes around.

I think I'll pass on this album, haven't thought much of the two singles from Leveler. Much better Metalcore bands in the woodwork.

this has given me everything i've wanted this album to be so far.

i didn't want a constellations or a messengers part 2, and this really doesn't sound like either. i'm satisfied.

I just watched a live video of Poor Millionaire on Youtube and WOW, that song sounds incredible.

His production on Constellations was shit, but this is sounding a bit better.

These guys are the only metalcore band ive seen 3 times, they put on an AMAZING show. (crowd, performance, sound - all good)... Granted they do mesh into the rest of their genre sometimes, im glad to see them evolving even if its just a little bit.

People may say oh wahh metalcore... put 'messengers' on your ipod and go run/lift... if you dont get a hugeee shot of adrenaline during 'Up against the ropes' or 'backburner' something is wrong with you

The 1st "interlude" was a bit BTBAMish, which means completely different from the song and not integrated in the song :-/ the 2nd transition to clean had a better flow. Nice to see that they brought in some experimentation, was a bit disappointed after the 1st song

The salsa moments were brilliant. The writing in the heavy section seemed rather lazily pasted together, bu the softer sections were quite amazing, I must say.

I would really like this if it wasn't so obvious they were ripping off BTBAM.

As per usual, the lyrics were typical ABR. As in boring.

But the instrumentation seems to have improved. Hopefully this new album merits a full listen through.

such a great metalcore band. it's awesome to see so many BTBAM references regardless of whether they are relevant or not. ABR keeps my undying breakdown boner alive and throbbing, and any time someone compares you to BTBAM you should thank them endlessly

Yep, Internal Cannon is definitely better than Empire. After Empire was released I feared for the worst in Leveler, but this somewhat reassured me.
