Devo Thrice left the line up. Also lol at Kvelertak being so high up, surely they're not THAT popular. Might go to this...might just go to the individual bands gigs though.

Can't wait for the Steel Panther hair solo.

Tom, I never had Thrice on the list. A replacement will apparently be named next week. As for the ordering, that was mainly me.

Slightly disappointed at the fact that had signed up a re-formed Black Sabbath before the reunion fell to shit. But hey,
Alice Cooper/Van Halen/Machine Head/Danzig/Hevy Devy etc on the one day can't be missed. Thoughts Davey?

There's enough there for me, that's for certain. I already know I'm gonna have way too many clashes.

Oh, and Tom, there may be no sideshows.

Will see: MDAM, ETID, Kvelertak, Bad Religion, Cro-Mags, Four Year Strong, Funeral For a Friend, The Swellers, Gojira, Machine Head, Danzig, Dashboard Confessional and Thursday. I just wish Thrice hadn’t pulled out .

i would not pay to see a single band on the bill

I know you didn't Davey, but I saw it elsewhere. And no sideshows?! Dammit, that means I'll have to fork out the big bucks. Lets see if it'd be worth it...

Kvelertak, Gojira, Thursday, Devin Townsend, Unearth, ETID, Bad Religion

Admittedly there's a few bands still to check out but eh...is that enough...its enough to fill a day, but if they over lap I'm fucked.

Apparently, the bands have already been roughly separated onto stages, but not into times. Unfortunately, the webiste crashed, so we can't see them.

Main stages are apparently (not necessarily in order):

Main 1
Van Halen
Alice Cooper
Bad Religion
Alter Bridge
All Time Low
Steel Panther

Main 2
Panic! at the Disco
Hole
Sum41
Yellowcard
The Used
Hollywood Undead

I'd feel sorry for PATD! if they are going on between Alice Cooper & Van Halen.

At least September/October should be pretty good weather wise. The summer festivals can be just brutal. I like Thursday but not enough to go. I always prefer sideshows anyway.

Did Thrice bail? Fuck that, probably the only reason I would go, plus Kvelertak. Also, this'll probably be ridiculously expensive.

Should be around $150.

Thrice apparently cited "Personal Reasons".

Fuck, so pissed that Thrice cancelled. I know they were all huge names and all but the headliners really disappointed me. Hopefully Foo Fighters will take Thrice's spot

I'm going because I get free tickets, and yes, Thursday rule. So do many bands playing, the headliners are the ones disappointing me though.

This lineup is fine. I don't know why everyone is hating on it. It would have been better with Thrice, but they've canceled on me before. Too bad I don't live in the land down under. If it costs less than $180 to go, then that's less than what my friend paid to see Van Halen three years ago.

If I lived in Australia, and had the cash to fork over, I would only be REALLY excited to see Bad Religion and Devin Townsend...and possibly The Used and Funeral For A Friend. I'd probably catch a few others just for the hell of it.

Dude, there are so many Guidos in Australia you don't even know. They mob people walking the suburbs past 5.

Bummed Thrice pulled out. Was going to go for Kvelertak/Thrice/Times of Grace/Make Do And Mend/Devin Townsend. But I found out I leave for a holiday a day before this festival starts, and I'll be a seven hour drive from the nearest capitals, so fuck it. I'll just go to Soundwave in Jan. Bummed about missing Kvelertak and Times of Grace though. I've wanted to see Jesse Leach live ever since I heard AOJB.

All the trendy scene kids will see Cro Mags, not because they know the band or even the music, but because they own like 400 of their shirts. Because it makes them HXC. Then, they will get tired of the loud loud noise and stumble over to the merch stands for hours and hours. Then crawl over to their mad hardcore fav bfffff band P@TD and tell everyone that they suck arse.
