I'm listening to the promo right now, and there are going to be some pissed off death metal fans. I think it's pretty good, but I'm not really a fan of the band anyway.

I think this album will suffer the same fate as the new Pestilence and Atheist albums...

I read a review for the album that said they tried some weird stuff on a few of the tracks. I'm hoping that this one was the weird one. Still kinda interested to see how the rest of the record turns out. The vocals I do not like so much, though.

Not bad. I don't like the drum triggering though.

The song download on this news article is one of the 'normal' ones, actually. I'm currently listening to the one with Combichrist (Destructos vs. the Earth) and it's cool.

I guess I'll have to check this out eventually.

I thought it was alright, but this is coming from someone that isn't a big fan of death metal and almost totally unfamiliar with Morbid Angel.

Probably too many outside influences on the album to call it that.

If that's the case, it's definitely got some industrial influences in the original too.

@Willie: I haven't heard the song or the remix, but according to the band, the remix is more of a techno/dancefloor kind of thing

They put Nevermore up as an mp3 too as well. Not sure if it's downloadable or what though. Pretty much just sounds like Domination era MA for the most part; or at least that track did. I don't think they're really all that crazy anymore since half of the praise was contextual anyways. To be honest, I always preferred Steve Tucker era..
