The lyrics for one are really generic and semi cheesy.
And this song is not something I would call 'gorgeous', I hear a LOT better in Atmospheric Sludge, with much better vocals.

I dont mind the short and sweet approach, besides I expect every track to be no longer than 3 minutes on the new album. I actually feel i'd like them more if they had a couple longer songs.

Short songs are effective, especially in this genre of music. Anything over 3 minutes gets mundane.

I feel like this could have been a lot longer without feeling dragged out too long or wearing out it's
welcome.

I don't mind the shorter songs, simply for the fact that they (as has been stated) leave you wanting more. HOWEVER, I wouldn't mind one song that pushes a longer time mark. I'm not sure if they'd be able to pull off a longer song, though La Dispute surprisingly did it well.
