Erm..I was hoping this would be good. I love all of their albums (Humbug being my favorite) but this is pretty average.

I really liked this, it's certainly a big improvement on Brick By Brick.

Brick by brick was the first time I've ever been disappointed with this band..
This song is pretty awesome though. On the down side though, I miss when they used to have good lyrics..

to be fair, though, i don't think this sounds as much like QOTSA as some of the tracks off humbug did.

actually, i think the "heavier" part in this song sounds more like alice in chains than anything else. (instrumentally, at least.)

It's definitley weird watching the clip for 'BYLGOTDA' then watching the new video. whatever still one of my favourite brit bands.

I don't like this upon first listen. Slower does not equate to heavier. This band used to be about frenetic energy. It now seems as though they have a collective addicition to Nyquill. Hopefully this is not indicative of the sound of the rest of the record. Humbug is a pretty weak effort; even after I made my peace with it, it's still the most boring album they have ever released. Come on, lads! Get back to that fucking Ritz among the Rubble!
