Veil of Maya reported on March 30th that their touring van and trailer was stolen in Wicker Park in Chicago, Illinois. As stated by VoM: "Please keep a look out for our 98 White Ford 15 passenger Van with the trailer shown attached to it. Please call Chicago police if you happen to see it. Thanks". Anyone with any information, contact info@sumerianrecords.com. No word on if the equipment was in the trailer when it was stolen.

what the fuck makes you think nobody noticed it? it's just sort of hard to catch up to a moving fucking vehicle on foot.

I mean, if no one was by the van when it happened. It's hard to telepathically relate to a van/trailer.

That's awful, I love these guys. It seems like this kind of stuff is happening more often, the first thing I thought of upon reading this was how Periphery got some stuff stolen a few months ago and then how The Ocean got robbed. If people are going to be scummy enough to go after musicians, they could at least go after the bands that can afford to replace the stuff.

Man, it seems like every band is getting their gear stolen lately. That and tons of band members are dying.
