They should have made a video from a better song, like Moonlight, Sex Tapes, or Dunsel.

just because it doesnt have several gay men dressed up in naval uniforms and dancing in synchronization to a keyboard solo doesnt mean its serious. their train stop was made out of 2x4s and plywood.

i like the minimalist theatre feel of the video, fits the somber theme of the lyrics. also, rody is the fucking man.

Awesome.
The end of the song reminds me of the Banjo-Kazooie soundtrack...

track is great but I found the video kinda generic

well, care to send me a link to a grand list of other videos that look the same as this one?

that's what generic means... and last time i checked, PTH has some of the most ORIGINAL music videos out there. this one was more or less just showing them playing sitting in chairs. not really generic. more like uneventful.

that being said i enjoyed the song and video. watching them preform, whether live or in a music video, is great fun.

thanks for the lesson bro, but generic also means

c : having no particularly distinctive quality or application

what i meant, is that it still is a classic metal video with the band playing their instruments alongside with a brief storyline connected with suicide, as the lyrics also have to do with. Videos like Spoils or Sequoia Throne were pretty much the same: same band playing their instruments, the singer doing these signature hand moves and stuff.

NOW, if you think that by putting a quite smart background with rooftops ,trains and a noose makes this video original, then I think I must be the silly one. Sorry for being bored of seeing them playing in a video that mostly serves advertising purposes. I personally prefer videos being artistically worthy, which by the way this isn't.

I don't watch too many music videos, but this is the first time I've seen it done like this, other than Protest's other video where they were also sitting down.

the thing is that usually music videos are made just for album promotion, and thus usually in a hurry. What I found original is for a band to have something to say through its' videos, as it may have had through it's music. Band members may not be directors, but they can surely have opinions about the work that is done.
