Funny to see the first date even though I already knew about it being the CD release show. Tiny venue in the middle of nowhere about 30 minutes from my house. Too bad I don't care much for this band, even after seeing them before.
|
| |
i wouldn't really call becoming the archetype "death metal"...
|
| |
fuck yes
|
| |
Not bad, but I swear I've heard that main riff in the beginning from some other band...
|
| |
beginning riff reminds me of Born of Osiris' "Open Arms to Damnation"
|
| |
YES
That is the song I was thinking of, Alaskan. It sounds EXACTLY like that.
|
| |
except BTA rapes BoO's ass
|
| |
yeah but that's comparing piss to shit
|
| |
Da bum tss
|
| |
yeah but that's comparing piss to shit
yeah, objectively BtA isn't a great band but they have a few awesome tracks and they were sort of a gateway band for me, so i'll always have a soft spot for them no matter how many stupid recycled keyboard riffs they put out.
|
| |
Lol, this band. That was generic as hell.
|
| |
That beginning riff is exactly the same as Born of Osiris's Open Arms to Damnation.
|
| |
except BTA rapes BoO's ass
Somebody obviously hasn't heard "The Discovery". BoO is amazing now. Haven't you heard?
|
| |
meh
|
| |
Oh, and I stopped listening to that song about 25 seconds in. It was REALLY REALLY REALLY REALLY boring sounding.
|
| |
" "'Path of the Beam' is one of our more diverse metal tracks," BtA guitarist Seth Hecox recently told Noisecreep. "
Oh lordy...
|
| |
not nearly as good as anything on Dichotomy, but i have a soft spot for this band.
|
| |
Great song. Can't wait for the new album.
|
| |
did anyone else crack up when they clicked the link and saw the band picture?
|
| |
That beginning riff is exactly the same as Born of Osiris's Open Arms to Damnation.
exaggerate much? it's similar but nowhere near 'exactly the same'
that was one of the only good riffs boo ever wrote anyway sooo
|
| |
I just wanna be controversial and state that I prefer Born of Osiris to this band. : D
|
| |
"The song's beat and rhythms are incredibly militaristic, but the song also exudes a semi-gothic European atmosphere, thanks to a precise use of synthesizers"
what the literal fuck?
|
| |
Wisdom has also said that this song 'is about riding a motorcycle in space.'"
...with unicorns and rainbows
|
| |
WOW,
BECOMING THE BOO more like it,
such a rip off, wowwwww
needs more djent,.
|
| |
terrible
and i liked this band
|
| |
song isnt bad.
|
| |
This band has always been pretty decent, but the vocals totally ruin it for me. I just can't listen to them for prolonged periods of time because it starts to really irritate me.
|
| |
Song is okay, I guess. About 3/4 into the song I don't know if he was inhale screaming or what, but it sounded awful. The clean vocals kind of reminded me of a slightly worse version of BTBAM.
Between "Short dude with huge gauges with hipster glasses" and "Mr. Redbeard Who Has Creepy, Cartoonish Eyes", this is a funny looking band.
|
| |
Somebody obviously hasn't heard "The Discovery". BoO is amazing now. Haven't you heard?
this
|
| |
Well that took a little bit to get going, but it wasn't too bad. Not as great as anything from Terminate Damnation, but still decent. I'll check this album out.
I'm also eyeing that Burlington, NC show.
|
| |
that was meh...
I really liked the cleans though
|
| |
Song wasn't horrible in the least, but I don't like the direction they're heading.
Jason sounded better, cleans sucked and the solo was sweet.
|
| |
Lol pure shit WOW.
|
| |
You're adopted
|
| |
