wtf the haunted are still a band?
|
| |
Not a fan of the sound change, but I will still check the album out.
|
| |
my gosh its awful. why are they bothering..
|
| |
They can go away now.
|
| |
Tried to like this band for a while. They just reek of mediocrity.
|
| |
IS a catchy-as-the-plague, all-killer-no-filler hard rock album
uLTIMATE FAIL X10. Screw this band, they suck. Turned off after 30 seconds.
|
| |
I don't think Tomas wants to degrade his reputation.
yeah because he really cemented his legacy in Nightrage
|
| |
lol^
Heard one song off this. The chorus was pretty catchy but the rest was average.
They aren't even the same band anymore.
|
| |
To be honest, I loved the first Nightrage album. I think Disfear is the shit! Tomas is doing ok. I liked Versus, loved Revolver, thought The Dead Eye was pretty good. I don't know about this one though.
|
| |
Fuck me, these guys are still around? Made Me Do It was a pretty good album in its day. Doubt I'll be checking this out though.
|
| |
heyyyy back off nightrage! band dominates. well sweet vengeance dominates.. haunted have done nothing decent or worth listening to since revolver imo.
|
| |
Quite bad. Motionless sounds like some EMO shit. They wanna be In Flames? This band used to be good.
|
| |
Just wasted my morning listening to this. Fuck, has this year been complete shit for metal or what?
|
| |
haha this sucks shit
|
| |
I just puked up blood
|
| |
Never heard this band before, but man, this is some shitty music.
I'll take your guy's word that they used to be great.
|

yeah I didn't mean to say that Nightrage was horrible or anything, they have some cool stuff. I was just saying that having him switch places with Dolving probably wouldn't make much of a difference either way.
and yeah I used to love The Haunted, especially The Haunted Made Me Do It, self-titled and Revolver. still haven't listened to this, but all these comments are not convincing me I should...
|
| |
They sure changed since One Kill Wonder (only album I've heard by them)...kinda made me cringe
|
| |
I just went through the stream.
This is the definition of average music, unfortunately.
There wasn't a single thing on the record that catched my attention.
a generous 2.5/5, hands down, for me.
And Peter Dolving just isn't Maynard James Keenan.
If someone wants to listen to good hard rock with a thrash twist, check out Kayser's first album.
|
| |
Wow....that was not good
|
| |
Band has always been fucking terrible and this is no exception.
|
| |
I was actually a big fan of The Haunted Made Me Do It but this sucks balls
this is like a 1/5
|
| |
turrible....just turrible
|
| |
Not feeling it with those first two songs. Maybe I should of listened to more but that was pretty bad. I like some of this bands releases too.
|
| |
First song is like Godsmack or something, what happened? This is the same band that did....what is this, I don't even..
|
| |
.....I think this is the most tolerable thing they have ever done. No Ghost is catchy as fuck...
like a 3/5 for me. Not amazing by any means, but def. an improvement from what they used to do.....
|
| |
Band has always been fucking terrible
well not quite...
Their thrash period is quite interesting, as they played thrash in a time where NO ONE played thrash and way before the dawn of the so-called "retro-neo-thrash" movement.
|
| |
First few albums were solid. S'all gone to shit now, though.
|

word.
|
| |
Guys, some of these dudes were the mighty At the Gates. What happened? my goodness...
|
| |
I don't know. I am on my second listen just because I like to give other songs a go and what not. You know this isn't too bad of an album. There are some really cool songs on here. As of now, somewhere between a 3-3.5 for me. There are some terrible songs on here like "Unseen..." However, "No Ghost," "Motionless," and "The City," and "Them" are pretty stellar songs musically. What Peter Dolving does vocally is more interesting than most bands that this is compared to, but there are also hints of COC in some of the songs. I can see where people wanted a little more heaviness, but I think there cool stuff going on if you really listen to it.
|
| |
album is shit
|
| |
these guys went into the middle of the studio, pooped on the carpet and decided to give that to their fans on this album... horrible
