Only song I've heard by these guys is "Lady In Black" which is pretty awesome.
| |
"23rd studio album"
Holy crap, that's a lot of albums.
| |

| |

| |

| |
Cool news. Only heard Demons and Wizards, but that album is fantastic.
| |
I really like this band, but I can't say I've kept up with anything they've done since the '70s.
| |
23 albums is a lot to keep up with
| |
THIS IS A THING I'VE NEVER KNOWN BEFORE IT'S CALLED EAAASY LIVIN'
What I've heard of their 70's work is great, just for curiosity's sake I might see what these old geezers are capable of in the current millenium.
| |
Sweet.
| |
what? holy awesome. I've only heard "Demons and Wizards" but it's one of the best early prog albums
| |
"i have "Demons & Wizards" and "The Magician's Birthday." both are really good. havent listened to the other 21 albums lol"

I love me some Uriah Heep. Return to Fantasy is by far my favorite song of theirs.
| |
I can't remember really. It's been too long.
| |
easy fuckin living
| |
Rock and Roll can never die.
| |
but still the rock will be there
| |
Yeah, to see them back in the day with Byron would have been amazing I'm sure.
| |
Their most important members were Box, Byron and Hensley. Only the first is still part of the current band, too bad. Byron died a good 20 years ago.
| |
None of those three people get the credit as innovators that they deserve. A shame really.
| |
''Yeah, to see them back in the day with Byron would have been amazing I'm sure''
Yeah Byron was the man. But sadly alcohol had the last word and ruined it all.
| |
As it did for many (Bon Scott is the first that also comes to mind).
| |
Too many stars have fallen because of drug/alcohol abuse especially in the 70's
| |
People who don't like Uriah Heep like it in the bum-bum
| |
whoa these are still goin?
| |
this was one of the first serious bands that my dad introduced me to when I was a kid (aside from stuff on oldies stations i.e. Beach Boys and Beatles)
| |
same here
| |
Band is the definition of underrated
| |
First saw heep back in 74 and going to see them tonight in Melbourne. Still a great band have followed them since 70 and cant wait to have the new album if it's anything like Wake the sleeper it will be fantastic
