Are you kidding, the old vocalist was a clearly better singer than Travis is. Travis is a waay better screamer though I will give him that.

Nathan was good on Nocturne

Boring, only song I've ever dug by them was Vela.

Nathan has one of the worst, nasally tones I've ever heard. His screaming is competent (though fairly weak), but singing, he is sub-par. Travis sounds much better, but I don't think he is singing the way he should be.

Meh, not bad. A little to slow though. Would be nice to hear some more up-tempo stuff though. This is sounding like it will be a fairly average release.

Els was super nasally in his delivery. He had a much higher range but Travis is a better vocalist overall.

sick guitar solo about half way through and from 2:40 on is pretty epic but other than that the
organization of the song and vocals are borderline awful. sure the guitar is playing some pretty
flashy licks and the drums are sometimes awe inspiring but its just not enough to save this track

They should have put a bridge section before that solo, it was so fucking good. It just seemed forced a bit but epic nonetheless. I really can't wait for this album, more so than BtBaM's EP. Just leak already!

bored the hell out of me

Nathan was awesome on Nocturne, but Midheaven was just abhorrent as a whole, and he was a huge part of that. Really looking forward to this album, the two tracks put out so far are already better than ANYTHING off Midheaven. Should be a solid 3.5

Song was pretty boring. Vocals sounded like Periphery for the most part, and I hate Periphery's vocals.

Too mid-tempo for me. It's not quite slow enough to be atmospheric and crushing, but not fast enough to be brotacular.

The vocals are in the same slow style as Periphery and some of the higher notes sound similar.

I have had to see this band live twice. The old singer cannot sing well at all. These songs sound slightly better, but still really bland.

liked faust better, this song lacks energy, and the vocals are quite boring.


The vocals on nocturne had great melodies, even tho their singer had a poor technique. Now it's just the opposit: the new singer has a better technique, but it seems like he can't write good melodies.

I really really enjoyed the original vocalist and im sad that he is gone. BUT it looks like they are actually on the right track now compared to the pukeworthiness of Midheaven. I might actually be excited now

Boring. I am still holding out hope for teh album as a whole but this song is about 3 minutes too long. Still, I don't think anything can be as bad as midheaven.
