awesome. totally awesome. I live in alberta, and some of the great indie songs released over the years are made by these guys. I'm not a big fan of alberta livin' but some of the msicians make the province bearable.

Anybody who hasn't should go listen to Hometowns and get pumped for this awesomeness.
Also, artwork.

artwork would make me guess that it's a darker version of "Hometowns"
but seriously, listen to the debut: Don't Haunt This Place and The Deathroads are incredible
|
| |
I really can't wait.

"cool, these guys are from mah province n shit"
So, you are from Ontario then? The lead singer of this band was born in Alberta, but this band was formed and came to notoriety in Toronto. A cultural backwater like Alberta (that has produced such notable bands as Nickelback, and uh... some country singer dude) could never, ever, grow a band such as Rural Alberta Advantage.

Don't forget Four Night Rider. I will never get sick of that song.

soooo many cows and horsies

I saw the exact spot where Nickelback put their "Drummer Needed" ad... But I was with the dean and couldn't exactly burn the billboard.
Alberta is mostly culturally backwatered, yeah, but there's some awesome bands coming out of here, too. I personally hate having grown up in Alberta, but no song is going to change that... Ironically, I was born in Ontario and would far rather have stayed there. And honestly, the guy who made an account for one trolling comment should be disregarded. It's not all wheat and snow, but it's sure as hell no Toronto here, either.
