typically silly metalcore song name
| |
Rulessssss.
| |
*Touch Myself, Touching Myself
| |
u just made an underoath fan cry
good job
| |
^haha
| |
So ballin'
| |
Song brings the ownage. Thank god it's faster than 'In Division'.
| |
I didn't really like that.
| |
the first song sounded more like sludge metal to me, ill have to d/l the leak to check it out more in depth
| |
The song name. Hahah, wtf was he thinking.
| |
album rooooooooooolz
| |
One of the album's weakest tracks, I think
| |
album does, indeed, rule
| |
oops double post. new cleans are fine doe
| |
I haven't listened to it yet. I miss Aaron.
| |
um, its the whole album thats streaming, not just one new song
| |
dislike the new cleans so severely
| |
Love the new album. Spencer pulls off the cleans very nicely, Imo. I didn't care for Aaron's whiny emo vocals.
| |
The new cleans are my favorite part.
Ok seriously mods, can we put the album up on their page so we can rate it/review it/discuss it?
| |
Yes yes yes!
New Underoath sounds like Oh, Sleeper. Still will buy this.
| |
man the cleans are da troof. kind of like a grimier, less whiny cove reber. and if you're missing aaron's cleans, spencer actually sounds vaguely like him at times haha
| |
Album is nowhere near as good as LitSoS and Define, it's lacking the overarching tension, but its still pretty good. Aaron is most missed on the drums I think, rather than vocals.
| |
This is fucking awesome. If it grows at all it's a 4.5.
| |
New Underoath sounds like Oh, Sleeper. Still will buy this.
not at all
| |
Awesome CD.
| |
needs more opeth
| |
How can anyone say that the drumming has become worse? If anything I thought it was better then ever... especially in Divine Eradication.
| |
Eh, I think overall this album is a step down.
| |
cleans are worse, but his vocal tone is heavier which is good. too much cleans though. drums are definitely better. i agree by saying aaron was nontraditional but his drums were fucking annoying sometimes too he lived on the snare. new guy has some nontraditional at times.
CD is much more user friendly. I could hear a lot of this on the radio.
sounds nothing like oh sleeper. nothing.
album is thoroughly enjoyable. can't tell if its better than LitSoS, but def worse than define. i thought driftwood was a pretty forgettable track. divine eradication is sick as shit.
| |
not a fan of the vocal layering on the chorus of Paper Lung. from what i've listened to of this so far though, i'll give it a 3.5.
| |
best part: end of vacant mouth.
best song: my deteriorating incline.
| |
I think this is way better than LITSOS and maybe just as good as DGTL, there, I said it.
| |
still sucks
| |
I've heard up to Driftwood. That song sucks but everything else was good.
| |
Am I the only one that wasn't amazed by Aaron's drumming? I mean, he was really good and all, but I really didn't appreciate a ton about his drumming aside from how sharp he was. From what I've heard of Daniel I prefer his style; seems a bit more groovy and busy (in a good way). I also think Spencer's cleans are freaking phenomenal on this; way more unique than Aaron's straight up emo singing.
| |
I can't believe how good Spencer has become. His screaming is some of the strongest among any frontman.
| |
Goku: Everyone's entitled to their own opinion, and I'm against trolling and shit like that, but let me tell you that giving both Cinematic Sunrise and The Maine a 5, (as well as spelling "truly" wrong in a sound-off) does not make your opinion an objective one (nor does your username), and yes I know that's really out of the point, but I felt like writing it.
| |
this is sooo good, writing a (shitty) review right now.
| |
can't wait
| |
I'm getting prepared to state my case as to why this may be better than DTGL.
| |
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WQoa4NDH4zU
| |
woah hey this is underoath right
then why am I not completely bored
| |
exceeds expectations! might consider it on par with DTGL...
| |
dude, it's miles better than DTGL. it's darker, rawer, more chaotic, catchier, sludgier (yeah)... everything is better.
| |
TBH, Aaron was a good musician and everything, but I feel he and the band had different ideas...and the bands were better.
| |
Great news
| |
Fool, I'm normally high as shit when I'm on here.
| |
its equal to dtgl for me atm, and noticeably better than litsos
| |
Goku: Good to know, I take back my comments then
| |
Driftwood then A Divine Eradication. good job underOath. i'll be listening to this more than litsos.
| |
The drums on this are insane. 300 times better than Aaron's. Listen to "Paper Lung", and "Illuminator", his fills and
energy are amazing.
| |
Before I listen, just want to make sure that the guy on keys didn't drown the whole album in effect like he did with those shitty fucking studio albums.
| |
Album is sick as hell. And the new guy's drumming is definitely better than Aaron's
| |
Album rulez
| |
i'm sooo excited to listen to this right now lol
| |
First time I've ever been excited for a UO album. I like this quite a bit.
| |
Its definitely heavier ill say that much at least.
| |
Good response to the leak.
| |
I have never listened to an album on repeat as much as I listen to this one. Since it's only a half hour, I want to listen to it again as soon as it's over. I think the replay value is so high because the tracks have a lot of variation. There are lots of ups and downs to the tone of the record. I thinks it's better than LITSOS and about on par with DTGL.
Overall, it's probably my favorite album since Converge released Axe To Fall.
| |
The first half of DTGL was solid in my opinion, but then the second half was amazing, and it still remains one of my favorite albums of all time, so it'll take alot for another UO release to surpass it
| |
yeah this is way better than litsos. that album wasn't like bad or anything but idk it just didnt keep my attention long.
| |
album roooooooooooooooooooollllllllllllll
| |
glad the fanboys are pleased
| |
I'm really liking Driftwood. Pretty unexpected.
| |
in completion.
| |
Bluue, it's Kay. He is as minimally used as always.
Do they really need him?
Watch some live vids of him. Make me lol he doesn't do much except jump around like an idiot.
| |
just keep going just keep going
| |
it will come yeah
| |
Davison's drumming is so much better than Aaron's. I was so sick of the same dumb ass fills. His drumming was so predictable.
| |
sorta disappointing... :
| |
Because his time was up and he was holding them back.
| |
andcas... im also not feeling this as much. the only album i can say this is better than is chasing safety. not sure if this is as good as lost and definitely doesnt touch define. i thought it might and then i relistened to define and was like yeah.... no.
| |
aaron really was a core part of the group. but I am still enjoying the hell out of this album
| |
Awesome stuff!
| |
Just wasted my fucking time. Band sucks and I should have remembered that going into this.
| |
New Underoath sounds like Oh, Sleeper
wut?
| |
catch myself, catching myself has one of the best underoath riffs of all time.
also the new record could possibly be there best...
| |
wtf Wiz
