Razorlight Record First UK #1

2006-10-08 by Dave de Sylvia EMERITUS | 3 Comments
Razorlight are celebrating this week after clocking up their first number one single in the UK.

The Anglo-Swedish band already had previously come close with both 'In The Morning' and 'Somewhere Else' hitting the number two spot. The single faced stiff competition this week from the Scissor Sisters' 'I Don't Feel Like Dancing,' the existing number one, and David Hasselhoff's 'Jump In My Car.'

In the album charts, The Killers' Sam's Town jumped straight to the top of the charts as expected. Their single 'When We Were Young' is currently number six on the singles chart.
