Dimebag Contacts TV Show 2006-10-07 by Dave de Sylvia EMERITUS | 11 Comments | Marketing geniuses for British TV show Afterlife have released an advertisement featuring a fake message from deceased Pantera/Damageplan guitarist "Dimebag" Darrell Abbott.
The ad, which also features a message from junkie Pete Doherty, reads as follows: "Darrell, 38, talented guitarist, shot by crazed fan. Tell the bro's back home I'm doing fine. Raise a blacktooth on me. Oh yeah, Jimi says hi."
If the old adage is true that dying is the best thing that can happen to a musician's career, it seems the same can't be said for their grammar.
Scans of the ad can be seen at the following locations:

i think this was the show where i saw them try to contact john lennon. it was total bullshit. everything they said was mentioned already in this bbig biography of the beatles from their childhood to their demise. this too is pure bullshit.
| | | I've never seen this show before (is it on BBC?). Sounds like crap, but if they wanna make money this way, I'm not gonna stop them.
| | | that's a selfish way to make money, I hope Dime's family sue's the show.
| | | Okay, thanks SOP.
| | | Oh my god. That's creepy. He knows Jimi Hendrix. These guys are amazing.
| | | If Dimebag didn't actually contact that show, I will give up sarcasm.

Oh, give me a god damn break.
| | | I'm sure this offends the 3 people who actually read the thing.
| | | Haha they have an emo/goth one.
I'm pretty sureit isn't trying to be offensive.
And yeah let's sue everyone who mentions the fact Dimebag is dead.
| | | That was probably the least funny thing I've ever read.
Oh yeah, Jimi says hi
