GNR Launch New Tour & Website 2006-09-29 by Dave de Sylvia EMERITUS | 1 Comments | Guns N Roses have launched a brand new website to coincide with the first leg of their 'Chinese Democracy' Tour- the strongest indicator to date that the supposed album may be ready to hit stores.
The new website replaces the hilariously shabby gnronline.com which after several years of existence still hasn't updated its news page and until recently listed tour dates from 2002. GunsNRoses.com offers fans the chance to buy official merchandise and easy access to ticket sales and presales, previously an arduous process for fans of the man who makes Brian Wilson look like a mere Michael Jackson.
The Chinese Democracy tour, as advertised, kicks off in Jacksonville, Florida, on October 20 and continues through Christmas until at least January. The Sebastian Bach band, which supported the band through much of its summer tour of Europe (and Bas graced the stage every night to duet on crowd-pleaser 'My Michelle,') has already been confirmed for the opening slot at each show, while a 'special guest' act will perform in the second warm-up slot each night through November 3, with Papa Roach confirmed for the opening night.

I'm really looking forward to this. If I weren't always broke I'd get some tickets. Sort of scary how I'm actually starting to believe Axl.
