sounds kinda different than the first album, but it sounds pretty good from what ive heard

Their first album was good. They have a very heavy classic/brit rock influence, which is cool.
That said there music is beenthere/donethat. I hope this album is a step forward.

I heard about half of their newie on the radio. The songs seemed to have a little more depth this time around, but unfortunately are still carbon copies of songs past. Will they ever learn, sod carnit!

No one can ever tell me why Jet are horrible. I guess the rock n' roll of AC/DC, The Who, Stones, and Zeppelin are gone. All rock songs have to have a deep meaning with little to no fun. Since when did catchy riffs, big choruses, and all out fun rock n' roll become so bad? The only song I would say sounds like any other band is Look What You've Done sounding like Sexy Sadie. Wolfmother sounds alot more like Zeppelin/Sabbath than Jet sounds like anyone.
