No I'm not fucking retarded I've just never been in a stampede (have you?) I have no idea what it's like. My closest experience would be in moshpits at metal concerts where the second someone falls down someone is trying to help them up.

As for techno, in europe Justice, Boys Noize etc are all considered techno, take a look at the I love techno lineups, it's not that super gay dance stuff everyone thinks it is. I think Boys noize has actually pulled out of playing the festival now after what happened

I was there, luckily not at that time in that place, I went through the tunnel earlier that day but from where I stood I could see the people stuck in the tunnel and the entrance, everywhere around us people climbed up the walls to escape and some fell down - and died. I didn't see anyone dead or dying and I'm very gladful I didn't. I'm paralized all the same , don't know what state I would be in now, if I had actually seen someone die. I'm so sorry for the poor kids that had to die just because the head of my city HAD TO prove that we could handle such a big festival. He should just have said NO! Actually the current amount of dead people is 18 and there are still 80 people injured, half of them badly. Just wanted to give you an update.

it'll keep happening at places where the entrance is too small or located in a bad position, that and if they let everyone in at the same time, they should treat it like rides at the amusement park. Only a few go in at a time, not everyone rush and find your seat/place.

you can't blame the crowd. If you are part of such a crowd you don't move on your own, you're moving as a whole. everybody who has ever been on a huge concert or festival should know this. I just saw it from above and it was horrible for the people being trapt in that way.

I've never been in a crowd THAT huge, but what you're saying is true. After a certain point, your own survival is the only thing you can look out for, simply because to do anything else is to be injured/killed

Of course people listen to electronic music. Don't be ignorant. I mean I know this site is mostly metalheads, dadrockers, and indie kids, but that's no excuse to be ignorant. Theres plenty of good electronic out there.
