The cadence at the end of the chorus reminds me an awful lot of one of the bridges on We Come Out at Night, the melodies are very structurally similar.

The one part of the verse sounded like Almost Easy. Then again, that is one of the few songs I like from them, so it didn't bother me.

Guys, the entire album leaked about 5 hours ago. I listened to it through-and-through about 2 or 3 times, and wrote a review on it. It's still waiting to be approved by mods because it's my first review. (inb4n00b)

I gave it a solid 4. Trust me, these singles A7X keep on releasing are nothing compared to the rest of the songs. SOOO much better than Self Titled, it's not even funny.

i like buried alive, mostly because the beginning is pretty cool then it turns into metallica, which is a band I like. but nightmare is typical radio music: it's awesome the first few times you hear it, but there's nothing more to it. very shallow music. This song i didn't like at first, hopefully it's a grower like buried alive is. But after hearing these 3 songs, I have no hopes for the album anymore. I'm WAY more excited about the new Maiden album. (even though they're not releasing absolute classics like powerslave or piece of mind anymore, they're still releasing completely solid material, unlike a lot of bands who just write typical formulaic and really generic songs every new album...like AC/DC or Slayer (or Cannibal Corpse, but they've gotten better since corpsegrinder first joined)

Listened to the album last night. The slow songs were actually some of the best songs on the album. I liked natural born killer way more than god hates us.

'God Hates Us' is getting so much praise because Avenged Sevenfold has lowered the expectation bar so much that even something that is 'sub-par' by them is 'FUCKING SICK MAN! m/ m/'

God Hates Us isn't "holy shit" good but it's still one of the best on the album. Natural Born Killer would have been better if the verse wasn't exactly the fucking same as Almost Easy.
