Trophy Scars Post New Song 2010-07-07 by herbreathonglass | 19 Comments | Trophy Scars Debut Song from New EP/ Announce US Tour Dates:
NJ's Trophy Scars announced today that they'll be releasing 2 new EP's in the coming months. The first in the series, entitled Darkness, Oh Hell, will see a late summer/early fall release and will be self-released by the band on CD and digital formats. A possible release on vinyl is in the works as well. The 6-track EP was recorded in the winter of 2010 by longtime collaborator / producer Chris Badami (Dillinger Escape Plan, The Starting Line).
Darkness, Oh Hell marks the band's first official release since 2009's critically acclaimed full length, Bad Luck, and a limited split 7" with The Saddest Landscape.
A song from Darkness, Oh Hell, "Trazadone," can be streamed on the band's Facebook page :

| | | Listening now, wish they would come near me.
| | | Antigo Wisconsin? That is one of the tiniest cities I've ever heard a semi-famous band play at. It's like 8,000 people and it's in the middle of nowhere. Interesting

| | | Song is fucking great. Wilkes Barre PA. Bet your fuckin ass i'll make the drive.
| | | Song slays, although I should probably be used to that by now. Trophy Scars are fucking amazing.
| | | -thumbs up-
| | | This is going to own
| | | Lol Atrink I was thinking the same thing. Actually closer for me to go to Chicago, but there will probably be 5 people at the Antigo show. Really strange choice, maybe a drug dealer lives there? ;-)

Well that's coming up quick.
| | | Not my cup of tea.
| | | Not mine either.
| | | how does no one know about Silverthorn/The Natalie Fight. Soooo good.
| | | Awesome. I really hope that Allentown date ends up being final as it says on the facebook page "help us book this date"

The Natalie Fight were pretty solid, and Nigel is almost as badass a vocalist as Jerry Jones. Actually, now that I re-re-re-listen to the new Trophy Scars song, it sounds much more Natalie Fight-ish than their other stuff. Not quite sure if this is the new direction for all of their new stuff, but I remain stoked.
| | | song is alright
| | | This is incredible.
| | | 2:24.... Ohhhhhhhhhh man. They should just release this tomorrow.
